This is a special course that fulfills YCHS reqirements for Senior English and AWC requirements for English 101 and 102.
The first semester will cover all writing and course requirements for English 101, a college level course, and will cover
several major works of British Literature, from the first major work written in English (Beowulf) up through the
time of Britain's most celebrated poet and playwright William Shakespeare.
The second semester will cover more advanced college writing including a major research paper as required for English 102,
and focus on literature and composition. Literature and the Writing Process will be the main textbook.
